James Righton in a simple ceremony held at the town hall in Mazan in Provence,
France and attended by only a few friends and relatives.
“It was not a long service and very few people [were
present],” a source tells People magazine.
According to this source, Aime Navello, the mayor of the
small Provence town, performed the ceremony which “occurred just before noon
and lasted only about 30 minutes.”
“Keira looked beautiful. She wore a very pretty, very
elegant dress,” the source People talked to continued.
Meanwhile, according to US Weekly, the 28-year-old actress
and 29-year-old Righton rode a small car, a Renault Clio, after the wedding.
According to the publication, the actress wore “a simple but
elegant short, strapless tulle dress by Chanel's Karl Lagerfeld, with flats, a
cropped Chanel jacket, and a daisy-chain garland atop her shoulder-length brown
tresses” to the ceremony.
Perez Hilton says that the dress is by Chanel.
“It was a very moving ceremony. Keira looked emotional
during the whole thing. She cried when they exchanged their vows but was still
smiling,” a source who was present at the event told US Weekly.
“It was a sunny day without a cloud in the sky. There were
