South Korean heartthrob Lee Byung Hun announced the good news by releasing an official statement this morning. The G.I. Joe actor will tie the knot with actress Lee Min Jung at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Seoul on Aug 10.
In his statement, Byung Hun said that he will continue to improve himself as an actor and try his best to be a good husband. He also expressed his wish for fans to continue supporting the couple.
Byung Hun and Min Jung broke up in 2006 and the 42-year-old opened up about their short-lived romance on a variety show. He explained that it did not work out back then as Min Jung was "just starting out" in showbiz and because he had "many" overseas work commitments.
Although rumours of them dating surfaced again early last year, the couple only publicly acknowledged their relationship in August. In his message to fans, Byung Hun called the actress "the most precious person" in his life. The lovebirds have been dubbed as the "Power Couple" in the Korean entertainment industry since going public.
